From humble beginnings…

The Deluxe Chemicals story begins in a small home garage in Kempton Park in 1990. What started out as a small family business, through determination and perseverance of its founders, grew into one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of industrial detergents and disinfectants in South Africa. We established the values of fulfilling and serving customers’ needs from all industries, recognising that no company is too small or too large and providing quality service and products. To this day these values have remained unchanged for 28 years.

Through the years, Deluxe Chemicals has accomplished a few big milestones. We outgrew our small factory and had the privilege of building our own facility. One of our greatest achievements was obtaining SABS ISO:9000 certification in 1999. We were one of the first companies to be involved with the NRCS (National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications), which led to our collaboration with the SABS (South Africa Bureau of Standards). This involvement came about after helping fisheries in Namibia set standards for disinfectants in order for them to export their goods overseas. This led to a significant milestone where we were afforded the privilege to help set standards in South Africa for disinfectants and detergents, now known as SANS 1828 and SANS 1853.

We are proud of what we have accomplished and welcome the exciting future ahead with open arms. Our commitment to producing quality products has allowed us the incredible opportunity of expanding our business across borders into Sub-Saharan Africa. Deluxe Chemicals will continue to maintain our values of providing quality service and products to our loyal and new customers.
